If you are looking for cargo space and towing power in one great package, them the Kia Sorento may well be the vehicle for you.
Designed to comfortably seat 7 passengers, the Sorento also has some real towing power. Just how much depends on the engine and drive configuration that you opt for.
If you go with the 290-hp V6 engine with the Dynamax AWD system, you are looking at a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.
How much can Kia Sportage tow
The Sportage SUV comes in a little smaller than the Sorento, but it can still be used to tow a decent amount of weight, regardless of which of the two engines options you go with.
There is AWD and FWD options with the Sportage, but neither influences the overall towing capacity.

Kia Sedona towing capacity
You might not expect a minivan to have much in the way of towing capacity, but the 2017 Sedona can pull more weight than the Sportage.
It certainly helps that the minivan comes with a powerful V6 engine like the one found under the hood of the larger SUV.
You will need to go with the Sedona that includes the optional towing package, but when you do, you get a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
